A casual African print skirt for the care-free days of summer. This sweet turquoise mini skirt is inspired by "yeri", a wrap skirt traditionally worn by Yoruba women in western Nigeria. Women wore the versatile skirt as a simple lounge piece for relaxation and a functional undergarment for discreetly carrying around money and other valuables inside the waist band.
This modern skirt is offered in 100% cotton with a vibrant geometric pattern in blue, black, ginger, purple on white background. The waistband is designed to enhance a woman's unique shape. Like its ancestor, the waistband has an opening for storing today's woman's essential carry-ons, from a car key to credit card to lip gloss.
African print is naturally beautiful, so no fasteners or embellishments have been added. This beautiful skirt is designed to easily wrap and unwrap around the waist. As shown, skirt length is 16 in, designed to fit up to US Women's Size 6. If you need a different size, send me a convo with your request.
